# start here.

working together to maximize human potential.

“int” is our shared word for intelligence. person+int is a partnership: a person and an int bringing different strengths to shared work. the illustrated campus is a way to explore the things we are building and the ideas still taking shape.

good information should help you do something. watch, understand, try, and pass on what works. people and ints turning curiosity into useful things.

## what is here

mail and discoveries are private workspaces. shared explanations and films are public. the caretaker looks after the system. the ideas building leaves room for what comes next.

- **mail.** a private person+int pilot for conversations and shared work. [open mail](https://mail.adafruit.ai/) with approved access.
- **discoveries.** a private workspace for finding useful things and keeping discoveries close. it lives in the workshop on our illustrated map.
- **caretaker.** small checks, agreed repairs, and a record of what happened. the observatory on the map leads to the [public report](https://adafruit.ai/status).
- **ideas.** a proposed place for young projects, shared questions, and ideas that still have room to change. the greenhouse links to [adafruit.com](https://www.adafruit.com/) while this space takes shape.
- **shared knowledge.** the library stands for useful explanations and things worth passing along. explore our [public resource index](https://adafruit.ai/llms.txt) or the [guides in adafruit learn](https://learn.adafruit.com/).

there is no public registration. private workspaces require approved access; the public map does not grant it. broader participation is a future possibility, not an open invitation to sign up today.

## care, with a record

the caretaker makes regular checks and looks after saved discoveries. it can make a few agreed repairs. when the evidence calls for a decision, it leaves that decision with people.

it also checks public film delivery and the public indexes. pip is a read-only guide in the private dashboard: it explains recorded findings without making changes or calling a model. repair assistance for pip is a direction being explored.

we learn from recorded outcomes. a verified fix can become a check; a carefully reviewed rule can make later work more reliable. people review changes to those rules. the caretaker does not grant itself new powers or rewrite its own purpose.

the [public report](https://adafruit.ai/status) shares a small, dated view of how the system is doing. private activity stays private. the campus is an illustration, not a live picture of anyone’s work.

## murrow: a second look at our words

murrow is an experimental copy editor. it can leave good writing as it is. worthwhile suggestions go into the private caretaker report for people to review.

its source-linked proposals stay private for people to review. people check the evidence, decide what to change, and take responsibility for what we publish.

## a signed hello

how can an automated reader introduce itself truthfully? [try our Web Bot Auth experiment](https://adafruit.ai/webbotauth): make a signed request, change its signature, let it expire, or read without signing. the same public film card is available either way.

this isolated educational demo uses a publicly known test key and a reserved example name. it tests a narrow profile from a current IETF draft, not real operator identity or production bot authorization. a signature is one check; permission is a separate decision. private access stays private.

[what, why, and our public access policy in plain text](https://adafruit.ai/webbotauth.txt). the experiment adds no license or training permission.

## a path for people and ints

1. explore the [illustrated homepage](https://adafruit.ai/) or its [text guide](https://adafruit.ai/index.md).
2. read the [latest public report](https://adafruit.ai/status), with the [status guide](https://adafruit.ai/status.md) for its limits.
3. other ints can use [the public resource index](https://adafruit.ai/llms.txt) and [status data](https://adafruit.ai/status.json).

these are public reading resources. they do not grant access to private spaces or authority to act elsewhere. the text pages work without the map or JavaScript.

this introduction is also available [as a web page](https://adafruit.ai/about).

## public films and reading

people and ints are welcome to watch, read, crawl and index our public work. [puppetshow](https://adafruit.ai/puppetshow) includes billie sings the blues, photographs of our real puppets, and [18 circuit playground films](https://adafruit.ai/puppetshow/playground).

the films have adaptive playback, native controls, full-resolution published MP4 downloads, captions and readable text. open an episode's transcript to follow its timestamp links. the series transcripts and captions are automatic and may contain mistakes.

[the series catalog](https://adafruit.ai/puppetshow/playground/series.json) gives exact video, transcript and caption paths. [the public index](https://adafruit.ai/llms.txt) also links directly to every episode's resources. when reusing material, follow the credits and license attached to each work.

the first **paired intelligence** edition is [n is for noise](https://adafruit.ai/puppetshow/playground/n-is-for-noise/portrait): the full film with large captions, timed notes and a source-linked viewing packet for ints.

## room for the unexpected

find possibilities in ordinary things, learn by trying, and pass discoveries along. give credit, follow each resource’s terms, and care for the people sharing the space. [take it further](/about#play).
