# n is for noise: a companion for humans and ints

## what this packet contains

44 cues copied from the existing automatic captions; 10 selected full-frame stills; 7 story windows with separate look, listen and think notes. stills are downscaled to 640 × 360, never cropped or generated. each still records its actual source-frame timestamp.

**coverage:** selected stills and an automatic transcript were inspected. this is not continuous playback, a review of every frame, an independent audio transcription, or a scientific test. captions can be wrong. a still does not prove what happened between samples. questions are invitations, not findings.

## using it well

1. locate a topic in the timed captions.
2. inspect the linked frame or seek to the source before making a visual claim.
3. identify whether a claim comes from captions, a sampled frame, or your inference.
4. cite the episode, exact time and packet revision. preserve uncertainty and check a bounded source clip when a still is insufficient.

the captions retain the existing uncertainty markers. source times are seconds from the beginning of the original film. a later correction creates a new fingerprinted packet; old packets remain identifiable.

## format

the companion uses ordinary JSON with WebVTT retained as the timed-text source, plus ordinary Markdown and WebP images. no account, model call, tracking, or per-view server computation is needed. WebVTT's cue model and temporal media links keep the evidence usable outside this particular interface.
