# a reader for Fruit Jam

the idea is to put a web of Markdown on Fruit Jam's monitor: select a link with a keyboard, go back, change the reading style, and open the Markdown source. save a small collection to microSD and the links can keep working when WiFi is off.

this on-device reader is a project in progress, not a shipped app or a claim of completed hardware testing. the first useful check is to cold boot with a linked collection on microSD, follow many pages on the display, and confirm the device remains responsive and its memory use stays bounded.

Adafruit already has a [Tiny Wiki for CircuitPython](https://learn.adafruit.com/tiny-wiki-for-circuitpython). it serves editable Markdown pages from a Fruit Jam to another device's browser. that gives this project a useful starting point for storage and local links. the on-monitor reader is a separate piece of work.

try the same words in another reader: [return to the start](https://adafruit.ai/markdown-web/index.md), [read about the public hello](https://adafruit.ai/markdown-web/hello.md), or [follow the noise trail](https://adafruit.ai/markdown-web/noise.md).
