0:16Okay, okay, good. Now, Mho, you're a resistor, so you go in the middle.
0:22Okay, let's do this. Okay. Grab onto me, guys.
0:30Oh, it's working! I'm blinking again!
0:33Oh, let me see.
0:37Wait, I don't see any blinking, Ruby.
0:39Well, that's because you disconnected the circuit.
0:43Let's give it another go.
0:44Please reconnect us, Mho.
0:47Okay, let's do it.
0:49Grab on.
0:50Okay!
0:51Oh, oh, ow, okay, okay, I'm working, I'm blinking again.
0:56I will take your word for it.
0:57No, really, look.
0:59[unclear speech]
1:00Okay, guys, group meeting.
1:03You've got to stay still if we're going to make a circuit together.
1:08Sorry, Hans, I just got so excited.
1:12I understand, Ruby, but we need to stick together in order for the power to flow
1:17between us.
1:18Huh. You know, making a circuit is harder than I thought.
1:22Yes. Well, there is one thing that would make it much easier.
1:28What's that?
1:29A PCB.
1:31PCBs are awesome. I use them every day.
1:34Um, so what's a PCB again?
1:37A PCB stands for Printed Circuit Board.
1:41A PCB is a stable and sturdy way to connect electronic components like us together.
1:47Oh, totally. PCBs are the best. There's a board part, that's the flat
1:53and strong support,
1:54and then copper circuit traces are printed on top. That keeps LEDs like me
1:59connected and centered.
2:01Or integrated circuits, like me. What about resistors?
2:06Of course. And our best friends Cappy, Connie, Gus, and Billie too.
2:10Yes. PCBs can be simple, with just a single layer of
2:16copper circuit traces,
2:17or really complex, with multiple layers of connections stacked on top of each other.
2:25Whoa, how many layers can we make?
2:28Most PCBs are two layer, one top and one bottom.
2:32But for advanced circuits, like a phone or a computer, there can be up to 16 layers.
2:39Hey, guys! This PCB over here would be perfect for us! Check it out!
2:44What? You mean we had a PCB over here the whole time?
2:49Shh! Shh! Just go with it!
2:52Okay!
2:59Ah! This is a nice PCB! Very cozy, no?
3:04Absolutely! I could blink here forever!
3:09This is the life.
